Situated among the Sierra Nevada mountain range and sprawling desert landscapes, Reno Tahoe is a dynamic, four-season resort destination where America’s largest alpine lake meets “The Biggest Little City in the World.” With unrivaled history, arts, outdoors, entertainment, dining, and offering more than 1 million sq. ft. of meeting space, Reno Tahoe is the right fit for a wide variety of business, meetings, events and leisure travelers

A flurry of development is underway throughout the metro areas of Northern Nevada. The burgeoning retail and dining district, Midtown continues expanding south of downtown. Reno Public Market is set to open in 2022, featuring a new co-working space, shopping and a local brewery conveniently centered between downtown and the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. A new Kimpton hotel will be the first all-new hotel constructed in downtown Reno in nearly two decades, and the former Harrah’s hotel casino is being renovated as a multi-use retail, commercial, residential and restaurant district, dubbed Reno City Center. Both projects are slated for completion in 2023.

Reno Tahoe offers more than 15,000 high-quality hotel rooms, and the destination’s major resorts are complete with ample meeting space, myriad restaurants, world-class spas, and first-class entertainment. This is a destination rooted in customer service, where meetings and events can find variety with multiple venues, or accommodations where all amenities and activities can be held under one roof. Reno Tahoe resorts span upwards of 2,000 rooms and 100,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. The largest event venue in the region, the 600,000 sq. ft. Reno-Sparks Convention Center is GBAC certified and recently renovated with new paint, carpeting, a fresh interior design, and upgraded Wi-Fi capabilities.

Outdoor recreation, clean air and pristine waters remain an enticing lure for travelers. Beginning with downtown’s Riverwalk District where the Truckee River winds its way from Lake Tahoe, visitors can enjoy a multitude of outdoor activities like fishing, kayaking and rafting. Just 30 minutes from downtown, North Lake Tahoe offers breathtaking views of the Sierra Nevada wilderness, as well as hiking, biking, skiing, boating and beachfront dining and relaxation.

Reno Tahoe is the gateway to Burning Man, which has helped to bolster the region’s booming arts and culture scene. The Nevada Museum of Art is the only accredited art museum in the state of Nevada and has curated some of the country’s most talked about exhibits. Reno Tahoe’s art movement has also hit the streets, with a vibrant collective of more than 100 murals and art installations throughout the cities of Reno and Sparks.

Northern Nevada is also home to hundreds of events and festivals. From The Great Reno Balloon Race and the Reno Rodeo to the Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-off and the Virginia City Camel Races, event season in Reno Tahoe is second-to-none.
