2026 GMC Awards Recognition Event and Luncheon

This March, members of the Greater Midwest Chapter gathered for the 2026 GMC Awards Recognition Event and Luncheon at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile, bringing together our community for an afternoon of celebration, connection, and inspiration.

The room was filled with familiar faces and new connections, all coming together to recognize the incredible achievements within our chapter. It was a true reflection of the strength and spirit of PCMA GMC, supportive, engaged, and always ready to celebrate one another.

We are equally grateful to our table sponsors, whose contributions helped create such a welcoming and memorable experience for all attendees. One of the most powerful moments of the afternoon was the moving speech from Hilary Rosenthal, recipient of the Richard A. “Dick” Daignault Award. Her heartfelt reflection on her personal and professional journey over the past few years left the room inspired and reminded us all of the resilience and authenticity that define our community.

We were also thrilled to welcome keynote speaker Robin Shear, author of Messy Joy, who brought an uplifting energy to the room. From dancing to snowball fights, she filled the afternoon with laughter, connection, and a refreshing perspective on finding joy in the unexpected.

In true GMC spirit, the event also gave back through our WINGS “Suit Up” initiative, collecting professional attire to support individuals preparing to enter or re-enter the workforce. Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make a meaningful impact beyond our event.
