Committee Descriptions

• Awards Committee

The GMC Awards Committee oversees the award selection and criteria for the awards program. This commitment is 1.25 years as it concludes in March of the following year at the awards recognition program.

• C.A.R.E (Community, Access, Respect, Empowerment) Committee

The GMC C.A.R.E (Community, Access, Respect, Empowerment) Committee provides recommendations to the Board, nominations, awards, and professional development committees to foster a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment.

• Marketing Committee

The GMC Marketing Committee will liaise with the Board of Directors and other committees to communicate key messaging with Chapter members.

• Member Engagement Committee

The GMC Member Engagement Committee will engage with members to promote and grow membership and value.

• Professional Development Committee

Create professional development programming for all members and audiences of all kinds. From partnership with other industry organizations and creating experience development.

• Sponsorship and Industry Relations Committee

The GMC Sponsorship and Industry Relations Committee will develop, plan and manage the GMC sponsorship program

• NextGen Committee

The mission of the GMC NextGen Committee is to identify the current needs of next gen (30 and under) members, facilitating awareness of networking and engagement opportunities for members in the early stages of their career.
