GMC PCMA Quarterly Award Winners
Please join us in congratulating GMC members Tom Ruzsa and Jenna Blandi on their dedication and contributions to the chapter.
Tom Ruzsa, Meet Minneapolis National Account Executive, is a member of the Chapter Relations Committee. Tom’s GMC PCMA Award recognizes his continued networking and efforts to drive membership to the local chapter.
Jenna Blandi, AAOMS Meeting Planner, is a member of the Student Relations Committee. Jenna’s GMC PCMA Award recognizes her continued engagement with students and efforts to encourage their involvement in our profession and chapter.
Student Scholarship Winner
Congratulations to Julia Martinez from Indiana University – Purdue University of Indianapolis, for her significant academic involvement in events and for earning our 2016-2017 GMC PCMA Student Scholarship.
Julia is working towards graduating in May 2019 with a degree in Tourism, Conventions, and Event Management from the PETM school. In her sophomore year, Julia balanced three jobs, including an internship at International Motor Speedway, all while earning her spot on the Dean’s List. She is also an active member in her IUPUI chapter of PCMA and in Meeting Professional International.
As a member of the PCMA IUPUI Chapter, Julia says, “I understand the benefits of PCMA’s events and meetings that supply a rich network of professionals who are willing to assist me in achieving goals that will propel my success within the next few years.”
Julia will receive $5,000 towards tuition for the 2016-2017 year.
