On Tuesday, March 12, 2019, members of the GMC PCMA Student Membership Committee participated in a panel at the DePaul School of Hospitality Leadership. The panelists shared their path in the industry and emphasized the importance of networking and building connections. Panelists highlighted the importance of taking advantage of local opportunities like volunteering at tradeshows. Tonya Almond, Vice President of Knowledge and Experience Design, explained the benefits of joining PCMA and shared the theme for the Convening Leaders 2019: “Disrupt and Deliver.”
