Morgan Miller, CTA, Convention Sales Manager, Visit Oklahoma City

GMC PCMA is proud to announce Morgan Miller, CTA as the Q1 Member of the Quarter Award Recipient. Morgan currently serves as a Convention Sales Manager for Visit Oklahoma City, working with them since 2012. She is a member of the Events Committee & was nominated by Greg Burton, Chair the Events Committee. In his nomination, he expressed, “Morgan handled the contracting and logistics for this year’s Awards Reception. She put in many hours over three months and handled multiple iterations of the contracts in response to our budgetary needs and our changing requirements. She approached this event as if the chapter was her real-life employer and her work and dedication were key to pulling off a quality event.” 

Danielle Urbina, CMP, Vice President of Corporate and Scientific Meetings, American Heart Association

The American Heart Association (AHA) has recently appointed Danielle Urbina, CMP to the new position of vice president of corporate and scientific meetings, which falls within AHA’s Lifelong Learning team. In this role, she will be responsible for oversight of more than 400 AHA events produced annually by the meetings department which consists of the meeting planning, scientific programming, exhibition, operations, registration, housing and sponsorship teams. Urbina has more than two decades of event leadership experience and most recently served as director of meetings and exhibits for the American Society of Anesthesiologists.

Vanessa Mobley, Senior Manager for Meetings and Events, National Safety Council

The National Safety Council (NSC) have announced Vanessa Mobley as their new senior manager for meetings and events. In this role, she will help organize the NSC Congress & Expo. Before this role, Mobley served as the senior meetings manager at the Association Management Center.
