Fall is here and I am still coming down from the excitement of seeing so many people in person at our Awards Ceremony last week and getting to speak at a live podium. This event also marked our first true hybrid event, as we streamed the winners live on our digital platform! I am filming this video after our Awards After Party we just had to continue the celebration!
Today I thought I would highlight award nominations and scholarship opportunities.
Awards are important and matter! It highlights the work of our volunteers and members, gives us a reason to gather and celebrate & brings added value to what we all can accomplish together. So, this is my ask this week, nominate someone for a GMC or Visionary Award. You don’t know how much it could mean to the person you nominate.

I also wanted to highlight the Mark Henry scholarship opportunity available. Initially this scholarship was earmarked to emerging leaders, but we have expanded the applicants to anyone! So, if you would like to become a PCMA member or attend Convening Leaders. I’ve had so many conversations over the years with people that have wanted to become members but didn’t have the funding, this is your chance, and we’d love for you to get involved in our chapter.

Only a few more president videos to go as 2022 planning is already underway. I just wanted to say a big thanks to those of you that have watched and supported these and my presidency for that matter. It’s been a long year, so to hear the positive feedback means so much to me!
Hope to see you November 3rd at our Signature Event or at the Holiday Mixer in December, more to come on that! And we will be extending our coat drive at all remaining events this year, so as you clean out your closets keep that in mind or purchase a coat for someone in need.
