Come hang on the green whether you golf or not! We are hosting our first ever GMC Golf Outing on Monday, July 25 at the Itasca Country Club which is conveniently located whether you live in the city or suburbs! We are looking forward to you creating a foursome (hurry…there are only two left!) or grabbing some green in a clinic, we have all of the opportunities to make this outing so much fun for you!

Be sure to register now for the September Education that the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee has put together for September 15. This session will be amazing because our speaker, Melissa Majors is going to deliver an inspiring and actionable discussion titled; 7 Simple Habits of Inclusive Leaders. We are very much looking forward to participating in this workshop and walking away with a toolbox to help us with optimizing our inclusion strategies.

And speaking of the DEI Committee (formerly IDE), it was decided by the board to change the acronym to align with the universal understanding of the acronym lessening confusion. Because of the important work that this group was doing in ingraining DEI into the GMC culture it went from a task force to a committee in 2022.

Another fun fall event is a Baseball Outing to watch the Chicago White Sox take on the Detroit Tigers at Guaranteed Rate Field on August 12! Grab your tickets today and hang out with a fun group of our very own GMC members, their families, and some friends!
