December 2018 Letter from the President

Merry, Merry and Happy Holidays to all!

2018 has been an exciting year as the President of GMC PCMA as I’ve had the privilege of guiding one of the strongest PCMA Chapters. Looking back, I’m honored to see such outstanding success from our many events and educational programs that have taken place throughout the year.

Moving forward, GMC has a lot of new and exciting ideas to look forward to in the coming year. As your Immediate Past President, I’m excited to see where our 2019 President, Doug Dvorak, along with the Executive Committee and Board, will take our Chapter in 2019 and beyond. We have an incredible group of professionals working hard to keep GMC PCMA moving in the right direction.

Within the last 24 years, I have been privileged to serve on the GMC PCMA Board of Directors three times, this time culminating as the President of the Chapter. It has been an honor to serve along with my friends and colleagues for all these years as I feel I’ve made an impact on our community and will to continue to do so as long as I’m still in this business. The guidance and support I have had from my employers, past presidents of GMC PCMA, co-workers, family and friends, has been amazing. I can’t stress enough how important it is if you truly want to make a career of meeting planning, to GET INVOLVED and volunteer to make a difference.

With all that said, I say thank you to the membership for your support over the years. I will still be around, you can’t get rid of me that easily!

With this, I close. Enjoy the Season,
