Community Service Event at Cradles to Crayons

GMC PCMA members Wendy Carranza, Jennifer Nelson, and Carolina Basora took a group of Chicago Youth Program teens to a Cradles to Crayons event on August 21, where they inspected, sorted and packaged donation boxes for low-income and homeless children. Snack bags were also generously donated by GMC member Andrea Goldberg.

“We had a blast with the kids, cleaning and sorting toys. The kids all really appreciated Andrea’s snacks, and tore into them right away,” said Wendy Carranza about the fun-filled day.

At the November 8 Bowl-a-Thon, we will offer a combination of silent auction packages and raffles. We will continue to work to increase the number of packages we can offer. The Silent Auction, Raffles, and Wine Pull are an important part of our fundraising effort as 60% of the auction proceeds from this event go directly to our designated charity, Chicago Youth Program, 25% to GMC new education initiatives, 10% to student initiatives & 5% to the PCMA Education Foundation.
