On November 9 at AMC River East in downtown Chicago, 199 GMC PCMA members gathered together for our Annual Business Meeting and Educational Program with featured Best-In-Class Speaker, Melissa Lamson, of Lamson Consulting LLC. Lamson is a sought-after speaker, facilitator, and executive coach with global experience. Melissa’s presentation, “Managing High-Performing Teams” taught our members how to assess the current standing of their teams, manage conflict and collusion effectively, develop best practices for managing a high-performing team, and more.

Following the Annual Business Meeting and Educational Program, we held our Annual Bowl-a-Thon at Lucky Strike with 177 bowlers and 231 cheerleaders. Our 2017 Bowl-a-Thon wine pull, raffle, and silent auction helped raise money for our 2017 charity, Inspiration Corporation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the homeless with resources needed to help them reach their fullest potential for self-sufficiency. Money raised will also support our chapter educational programs, our student initiatives, and the PCMA Education Foundation.
