November Membership Challenge Update

Next January, PCMA Convening Leaders will be held in Nashville which is well-known as Music City. As we look forward to that event, the Membership Committee has chosen a song of the month to highlight with each e-newsletter.

Song of the Month: “I’ve Got Plenty To Be Thankful For” Bing Crosby from the movie Holiday Inn

How many of you know the old Bing Crosby & Fred Astaire movie “Holiday Inn”?  This is a classic 1942 movie tells the story of entertainers who decide to open a Country Inn with a holidays-only live entertainment venue (of course there a little love triangle in there for good measure). This classic shares a song “I’ve Got Plenty To Be Thankful For” and with Thanksgiving happening in a few weeks, I always think about how privileged we are to have PCMA. From the networking and friendship, advocacy, personal and professional advancement, face-to-face and online education, we have so much at our fingertips that I can’t imagine being successful without it.

Do you know of a planner or supplier who could benefit from this?  Please introduce them to GMC PCMA! Do you know a current member who has great ideas and wants to be more involved? Ask them to serve on a committee. Much of our work can be done remotely so it doesn’t matter where you are in the Midwest, we can use your help!

Current membership numbers are at 219, putting us at 73% of our goal.
