Greetings from PCMA Convening Leaders and Happy New Year to all! My name is Doug Dvorak and I am overjoyed and honored to serve as your 2019 GMC PCMA President.

Planning continues here at Convening Leaders as we have had some extremely productive meetings. We are excited to kick off 2019 with new and innovative programs, unique locales and coming soon, more information on a brand new Chapter Signature Event!

I am proud to be associated with this amazing team, your 2019 Board. Communication is paramount so feel free to reach out to any of us with questions or comments throughout the year.

We do however have many things to accomplish and I implore you all to help out. First, we need more volunteers. Please give your time, energy and brainpower to help your Chapter. The link to volunteer is here. Volunteering is a great way to give back, engage, voice your opinions and it does not look bad on a resume as well. Check out the survey and see what interests you. Remember, YOU have the choice in deciding how much time you wish to volunteer. This is our Chapter and we cannot be the best and truly make changes without your assistance. I challenge you to get involved.

Next, we have a new Sponsorship prospectus available. The time has come to sign up, give back and take advantage of these wonderful marketing opportunities. For organizations in the meetings industry, there is no better audience than PCMA Professional Members and no better Chapter to capture the highest quality business.
