Carol McGury, MPS, Executive Vice President, SmithBucklin

Carol McGury, MPS, was recently appointed the PCMA Education Foundation Chair. She currently works as the Executive Vice President of Events and Education Services at SmithBucklin. Her goal as the Education Foundation Chair is to ensure that PCMA provides the resources to support the foundations’ global growth which includes providing funding for key scholarships and research for industry-leading education.

Aileen Laracuente, Regional Sales Executive, Monterey County Convention and Visitors Bureau

Aileen Laracuente was recently appointed the Regional Sales Executive for The Monterey County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Midwest region. She has been involved in the hospitality industry for the past 25 years and is excited to take on this new role. When asked what she loves most about her new job, she says, “Everything I do has an impact on the community. It is a true honor to have been entrusted to represent Monterey County.” Her commitment to the community and the hours of volunteering for PCMA over the last nine years has not gone unnoticed.
