Education Committee Spotlight: Bonnie Stetz

Bonnie is the Director of Conference Content Design at The National Association of REALTORS®  and she has had to combine her old skills with new creativity in response to the pandemic and the changes that have come with it. She says, “Having one of the earlier conferences to pivot from in-person to online has afforded me the opportunity to do the very thing I love – facilitating peer-to-peer education by sharing lessons learned – in webinars to our state and local chapters, by curating our June PCMA Midwest Chapter education panel Doing Business During a Pandemic, in a Convene article and as a guest on the Miracle Workers podcast.”

Bonnie has been working in events since 2001 from working as a Show Coordinator for the National Marine Manufacturers Association, traveling to over 29 countries as the Institutes & Seminars Department Manager  for the Lion’s Club International, and helping those around the country find solutions for managing and delivering education content as an Account Manager for Planstone Group.

This is Bonnie’s first time serving on a PCMA committee, and in addition to organizing our June Education program, she has been working on her dream project of leading an overall reimagining of REALTORS®  annual and legislative conferences. Personally, Bonnie has been missing travel and compensating by buying an Away carry-on with a battery as well as road-tripping to the Great Smokey Mountains with her husband and her two young daughters (ages 7 and 2).

Committee Chair Joe Wilush says that Bonnie has been a tremendous addition to the education committee. The education committee is thrilled to have Bonnie on their team and they are looking forward to developing meaningful education sessions in the future
