David Almond, Regional Vice President of Sales – Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI)

Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) has hired David Almond as the Regional Vice President of Sales for the Midwest U.S. and Canada. Based in Chicago, Illinois, Almond is now leading and overseeing ALHI’s global sales teams in Chicago including: Kansas City, Missouri, Louisville, Kentucky, and Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Previously, Almond served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for the InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile.

Yolanda Simmons, CMP, Director of Events – GKIC

Yolanda Simmons has been named the new director of events for GKIC. In this role, she will manage the events team and oversee the development and execution of all live events. Previously, Simmons served as senior meeting planner at AHIMA.

Phillip Ridley, CMP, Meetings Manager – Emergency Nurses Association

Phillip Ridley is now the Meetings Manager at the Emergency Nurses Association. He was previously the Registration and Housing Manager for the American Society of Anesthesiologists, as well as a Meeting Planner at Bostrom Corporation and the American Hospital Association.
